Indigenous to Japan, China, and Korea, this variety has exceptionally larger flowers that the typical Neofinetia. It is also fragrant! These are divisions of our mother plant in 3.5" pots with multiple growths.

Epi. schweinfurthianum
This species occurs in San Salvador and Guatemala and flowers during the late summer/early fall season for us. The flowers are small but very attractively colored, with pink on the back of the sepals and petals, and a reddish tint on the front portion. The lip is also pink, and the contrasting colors and the amount of flowers that appear on the branching inflorescence make a definite statement! These are divisions of our mother plant, flowering size in 3.5" pots.

Found throughout the Pacific Islands such as New Guinea, Samoa and Fiji, to name a few of its home, its flowers are known for its longevity, being hairy, spotted, and striped all at once! Den. spectabile frm. flavus x sib
The typical Den. spectabile is found in New Guinea. Our last selfing of our mother plant produced 4 plants of this variety, so we made this sibling cross to produce more! This form does not grow as vigorously, nor does it attain the same size as its typical form, but it gets covered with flowers several times a year for us. They need lots of filtered light and good air circulation to thrive. Available in 3.5" pots.

Den. secundum
Native to parts of Southeast Asia, this species is commonly known as the "toothbrush orchid" due to the way the flowers line up on the inflorescence. This is the "type", or normal form of the species, and has pink flowers. At one time it was easily found in greenhouses, and the alba form was rare. Today, however, the opposite situation prevails, and this pink variety is not seen much. Near-flowering size in 3.5" pots. (Thank you to Jerry Meola for providing the photo!)
